Chris’ wife, Colleen, comments often that Chris was a Rotarian before Rotary found him. He is quite at home since joining as a charter member of the Rotary Club of Catonsville-Sunrise in Baltimore, MD in July 2001. Serving his club in all positions has been a great journey.
Colleen received an opportunity to relocate to Charlotte, NC in 2006 and naturally Chris found a club to join – The Rotary Club of Lake Norman-Huntersville. What wasn’t expected was their immediate need for a President-elect, and because Chris was already in that role when they moved, he was able to step right in. He is now a member of THE Rotary club of Cabarrus County.
His Rotary roles include Club President 2008-08, Assistant Governor 2010-12, District Membership Chair 2011-12, District Governor 2012-13, Zone 33 Assistant Rotary Public Image Coordinator 2013-16, Zone 33 Rotary Coordinator 2016-19, President of the International Fellowship of Motorcycling Rotarians 2016-19 (ask me about Rotary’s not-well-known gem of Fellowships), Zone 33 Innovative Club Advocate 2019 to present, and he served in various other roles.
Chris often says that Rotary has given back to him more than he has ever provided to it, and that the more he tries, the more Rotary gives. Rotary has transformed his life (not as much as his wife, Colleen, however).
Vocationally, Chris is a co-owner, President & CEO of Member Minder Pro, powering DACdb and iMembersDB. His hobbies include being a grandfather (the best job ever!), toy poodle dog(s), boating, motorcycles, friends and fellowship, travel, eating Maryland Blue Crab and NC BBQ (not at the same time), and gadgets.
Chris’ family means the world to him and feels fortunate that their two sons followed Chris and Colleen to the Lake Norman/Charlotte area
